As we close out the numbers for October 2023 in the Dallas Texas housing market, we're analyzing the numbers to determine which cities in the Dallas Texas metro area have experienced the biggest decline in Median Sales Prices compared to September. The Fall season usually indicates a slower period for the housing market in the Dallas Fort Worth metro area, but some cities seem to be struggling more than others. We're being cautious in our analysis by only considering cities that had at least 30 closed sales in October. This helps to eliminate any unusual fluctuations in prices due to only a few transactions. We also rely on the median sales price instead of the average, as it provides a more consistent representation of the market. We keep track of over 80 suburbs and cities in the region each month to stay informed about the overall housing market in Dallas Texas. This enables us to have a comprehensive understanding of the real estate landscape in the area.
